With 20 years of experience in the turnaround and industrial maintenance sector, he transitioned from a mechanical craftsman to Senior Vice President of Operations at Elite Turnaround Specialists. Matt understands the critical role of safety equipment in the field and its impact on facility uptime during outages. He focuses on creating a quality product with a strong team, optimizing efficiency, and exceeding customer expectations.

His hands-on experience and leadership mindset make him a valuable asset as Select Safety continues to expand its commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable turnaround and safety solutions.

With 23 years of hands-on sales and field services experience in the Petrochemical, Oil and Gas industries, George has acted in the capacity of an Account Manager, Operations Sales Manager and Senior Project Manager field services. George operates with a heartfelt approach and sense of urgency with all aspects of mentorship, customer service and project delivery. His extensive experience in Turnaround Planning, Scheduling and Execution of major projects has placed George in the top tier of customer satisfaction, on time on budget operational excellence, and trust. George’s extensive knowledge of regulatory standards, best practices, safety equipment, utilization and management using state-of-the-art and real-world applications will excel Select Safety’s field services and special projects to greater heights and success ongoing.

Safety Director

Faye has worked in industrial safety since 2011, leading safety programs in high-risk environments with a focus on OSHA compliance, hazard mitigation, and safety management systems.

She served as an EMT-Intermediate from 2005 to 2025, bringing extensive emergency response experience that strengthens her approach to incident prevention and worker protection.

Faye also serves as a Special Government Employee (SGE) supporting OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP), contributing to the advancement of best-in-class safety systems.

Brenda Christmas

Brenda Christmas

Controller

Brenda oversees the accounting department for Select Safety Services. As the controller, Brenda plans, organizes, and controls the financial and accounting functions, practices, and procedures for the Company to ensure achievement of our long and short-term goals. Brenda holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Incarnate Word and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Kevin Leach serves as Director of Rescue Services, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for the company’s Confined Space and High Hazard Rescue Teams. He directs all aspects of training development, team readiness, and personnel scheduling, drawing on 15 years of industry experience in confined-space operations, regulatory compliance, and high-risk rescue environments.

Psychology and Business Administration from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and brings nine years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

Van Aguilar is the Asset Manager at Select Safety with over 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career in 2010 and advanced into asset management in 2022, where he provides strategic oversight of equipment fleets, drives utilization performance, and supports operational excellence. Van brings a leadership-focused, data-driven approach grounded in real-world field experience.
